meet my idog
I know it's been a while since i updated.. i really should have updated with pictures of London, and i will... But for now... meet Archie *grins* (I totally didn't come up with that name while watching CSI last night *lol*) I got Archie from one of the families from the church for my Christmas along with a big candle *grins* And last night while on my day of I finally got to open him up and find out his true potential... How cool is he???? So here's Archie doing a Christian jive... Oh and btw its also a great song. "What the world needs" by Casting Crowns. I would totally recommend you to listen to it in its entirety some time *grins*

Just in case you don't get that chance, here's the lyrics for your leisure...

What this world needs is not another one hit wonder with an axe to grind
Another two bit politician peddling lies
Another three ring circus society
What this world needs is not another sign waving super saint that's better than you
Another ear pleasing candy man afraid of the truth
Another prophet in an Armani suit

What this world needs is a Savior who will rescue
A Spirit who will lead
A Father who will love them in their time of need
A Savior who will rescue
A Spirit who will lead
A Father who will love
That's what this world needs

What this world needs is for us to care more about the inside than the outside
Have we become so blind that we can't see
God's gotta change her heart before He changes her shirt
What this world needs is for us to stop hiding behind our relevance
Blending in so well that people can't see the difference
And it's the difference that sets the world free

Jesus is our Savior, that's what this world needs
Father's arms around you, that's what this world needs
That's what this world needs

enjoy...

Christmas, CSI and birthdays all in one...
Right ok... prepare for a BIG update and I shall tell you lots of stuff while i sit here rather achey and sore from a bad cold, while also listening to my 'most relaxing classics' CD which was one of my rather useful presents this year... *grins*

Yes... so first of all... i would like to report a Crime Scene *hehe* I got home from work last night to be greeted by Phil who told me that there had been a murder *eeek* here is the evidence as it was... The murder victim went by the name of 'Cuddles' and was a long loved reindeer and play mate to Abbie... The evidence seems to suggest that poor Cuddles was mauled as the attacker tried to rip off his arm and rip out his squeeky heart. Abbie would appear to be the prime suspect, she however sat and looked up with sad eyes and her cute look on her face pleading that it wasn't her... Case still pending. *lol*

That aside, I mentioned that Phil was don for a couple of days... you would know that by simply seeing the bomb site which is currently my flat. It is more of a mess than usual. Much more of a mess. It seems that Phil is not used to the cooler climates of a flat like mine in the winter *hehe* I have had the heating on, honest... *lol*

But that aside... you have to admit, this it quite a cute picture... *heheh*

But yes... Christmas was indeed lovely... and how could i forget that it was our pooches first Christmas!!!!! Admittedly once we were up and opening our sacks Abbie slept inbetween mum and dad on the couch and wasn't all that interested, but at the same time she got many nice toys and treats so she was a very happy pooch!!! She even has a portrait up in the flat now courtesy of her Uncle Phil, and also has a certificate showing that she has a Masters of Affection university Degree... see I told you she was a clever pooch!!!!!

ah i see to be going in reverse order... so i shall continue that way... before Christmas I had Sheena and Geo over for an afternoon to celebrate Sheena's 'almost 50th Birthday' - She was 50 on the 29th Dec, but obviously I wasn't going to be in Glasgow, so I decided to do something special for her before I went home... and what was that something special?
Well a big parcel (huge) which had 50 small parcels inside... all numbered with little clues on the outside. Mum helped me put it together, and it was a lot of fun buying random stuff to put in it as well as wrapping it and of course the BEST bit, watching Sheena unwrap it all *grins* It was good fun... I even got a wee cake and wrote 'Happy almost Birthday Sheena'. So yeh... It was mostly random fun stuff like stripey socks (which i know she has worn - snaps for Sheena!) smelly stuff, useful practical stuff... so yeh was nice.

Anyway all in all Christmas was good. Its just a shame i'm now full of the cold and feeling so rotten. Have to get better for next week though... lots happening before I'm at a conference on Friday and then of course the week after I go to London with Heather and we're going to see her brother Steve and also see Joseph and his technicoloured dream coat *yays* it'll be soooo much fun!

*big cheesy grin*

Anyway - hope that was enough of an update for you... I should probably go and make myself some dinner now... heh.

sorry... woops
yeh i haven't updated this for ages... so sorry. just been rather busy and I wasn't actually on the computer all that much which I was at home over the Christmas break. It was a good break though.

I got lots of cool stuff for Christmas... most of which is actually really useful - including a sat nav which is even better!! means I can be more adventurous when I borrow the car from Sheena *grins*

so yeh. Good Christmas. Good Hogmany. I now have a sinker of a cold though. Well its' actually a bad cough... my ribs are sore now because of it *sads* Phil's come down to visit for a couple of days though. So that's nice. I guess it kinda makes sure that i won't be overworking myself this week. Am working every night as it is... heh.

Ah well... I need to go and check on our lunch... hopefully i'll sort myself out and be on here updating more often from now on!
